When I booked my dive trip to Con Dao, I was picturing beautiful reefs. And don't get me wrong, they were amazing. But I saw something on the Amadive itinerary: **Diving a Sunken Wreck**. My heart leaped. This wasn't just a standard dive; this was exploration into history.

I have to admit, I felt nervous. Wreck diving requires extra care. But the team at **Amadive** was absolutely professional. The PADI guides provided a detailed briefing. We covered our safety procedures, the history of the wreck, and what to expect below. Being in a small group instantly made me feel safe.

Going read more down was surreal. At first, it was just a dark shape in the distance, and then the ship appeared. It is massive. It's now a bustling new home, draped in corals and swarming with fish. I spotted big groupers hiding from the cargo hold, and schools of fusiliers hiding in the cracks. The feeling of swimming alongside this silent, ghostly vessel was hard to describe—haunting, beautiful, and humbling all at once. It's a piece of history under the water.

For any an Open Water diver (or higher) coming to Con Dao and looking for something more the standard reef, I cannot recommend this **Con Dao wreck dive** enough.
